- Medical Records Review

This includes prior medical history, emergency room records, operative reports, rehabilitation consultations and psychological assessments. A thorough review of the medical records from the unique perspective of a physician Life Care Planner is necessary in the work-up to glean recommendations from providers, and also to identify any pre-existing conditions that will affect the patient going forward after the onset of the disabling injury.
- Comprehensive Interview
After reviewing all of your medical records a comprehensive interview will be completed. This may take up six hours, but can be split into shorter segments if necessary. Pictures or video of your living arrangements, your injuries, disability, and required assistive devices may be taken to help your case, with your permission.
- Contributions from your Therapeutic Team
Those currently involved in your care including your primary physician, rehabilitation therapists, surgeons and counselors may all be interviewed. The goal is to analyze every aspect of your accident, disability and long term recovery needs. Nothing will be overlooked.
